Memefy started with a simple frustration: every "free" meme generator wanted an account, capped your downloads, plastered watermarks on your work, or made you wait on a render queue. We thought meme-making should feel like meme-making — fast, silly and effortless.
So we built the tool we wanted: a browser-based meme maker with original artwork, real text control, zero uploads and zero limits. Everything runs locally on your device, which means your captions stay yours, and the tool stays fast no matter what.

When you create a meme, the image is rendered in your own browser and your text is never transmitted to our servers. We have no accounts, no profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data because we don't hold any.
